1. Methods for displaying water flow in water pipes

There are three main methods for displaying water flow in water pipes: visual observation, instrument detection, and auxiliary labeling. The specific operation depends on the pipe material, environment, and requirements.

1. Visual direct observation method: If the water pipe is a transparent PVC or glass pipe, it can directly observe the water flow pattern through the pipe wall, such as turbulence and laminar flow, which is particularly suitable for water flow monitoring in laboratories and small devices.

. 2) If there is an exhaust valve in the water pipe, open it and observe the speed at which the bubbles are released. If the bubbles are continuously released, it indicates that the water flow is flowing, and if the bubbles are still, it may be a stagnant water section. 3) Install a blade type water flow indicator, similar to a small turbine blade, where the water flow impacts the blade and rotates. By observing the blade status, the presence of water flow can be determined, making it suitable for metal or hard plastic pipelines.

4. Precautions: 1) Metal, cast iron and other opaque pipes cannot be directly observed, and instruments or auxiliary methods must be relied upon.

. 2) Food grade pigments cannot be used for drinking water pipelines, and environmentally friendly tracers can be used in industrial scenarios. 3) High precision detection requires calibrated professional equipment, and low-cost sensors can be used for simple home monitoring.

The difference between a throttling flowmeter and a float flowmeter is that the principle of a throttling flowmeter is to set obstacles in the pipeline passing through the fluid, and to obtain differential pressure through throttling to reflect the magnitude of the fluid flow.
